The short answer
Arcanjo works as a local subcontract cleaning crew behind Anderson Cleaning’s name in Western Massachusetts. This partnership note explains the relationship and thanks Anderson for trusting Caio, Karen and their crew with the work.
Some partnerships are loud. This one is not, and that is why it works.
Arcanjo Cleaning exists to do the work on the floor. Anderson Cleaning exists to hold the client relationship, the standard, and the name on the contract. For years now, that has been our largest partnership. We are a subcontract crew for Anderson. We are proud of that, and we should say it in public.
Thank you, Anderson.
What this partnership actually is
Anderson Cleaning is a commercial cleaning company headquartered in West Springfield, owner-operated since 2007 by founder and CEO Anderson Gomes. They serve facilities across Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut — offices, healthcare spaces, recurring janitorial programs, floor care, post-construction, and emergency work for active accounts. Their public home is www.andersoncleaning.com.
We started later, in 2021, as an owner-operated crew under Caio and Karen Arcanjo. When we work with Anderson, their name stays on the account. Ours stays on the labor, the closeout, and the habit of telling the truth early.
That is the arrangement in one sentence: Anderson owns the promise. We help keep it locally.
If you want the operating version of that sentence, we already wrote it: How a good subcontract crew protects the prime contractor.
Why we wanted to say this out loud
Subcontracting has a bad reputation in this trade, and some of that reputation was earned. A weak sub hides. A weak prime dumps. The building pays for both.
A good one looks almost boring from the outside.
- The prime talks to the client.
- The local crew follows the agreed scope.
- Insurance documents show up before onboarding, not after a problem.
- Photos and closeout notes exist when the account needs them.
- Small issues get reported while they are still small.
- Nobody “helpfully” redesigns the job in the hallway.
That is how we try to work behind Anderson, and behind any prime contractor who wants a Western Mass crew that will not turn their contract into a second management problem.
We do not list Anderson’s buildings here. Those accounts are theirs. The thank-you is ours.
What “biggest partner” means from our side
It does not mean we are the face of Anderson Cleaning. We are not.
It means that when we look at the work that taught us how to show up the same way on a Tuesday in Chicopee and a Thursday in West Springfield, a large share of that work has been Anderson’s. They gave us volume with standards attached. They expected communication instead of excuses. They treated the local crew as part of the delivery, not as a discount lever.
For a company our size, that kind of partner is rare. It is also how two West Springfield businesses can cover more buildings without pretending one van can be everywhere.
If you are a facility manager reading this and you already work with Anderson, nothing about your account changes because we published a journal note. Talk to Anderson. That is the point of the model.
If you are a cleaning company that needs a dependable local crew in this market, tell us about the account. We will say yes only when we can protect your name.
A short thank-you, without the speech
Thank you to Anderson Gomes and the Anderson Cleaning team for the work, the trust, and the years of support.
Thank you for letting a smaller owner-operated crew do real commercial work without having to pretend we are a regional call center.
Thank you for keeping the client relationship clear so the people in the building are never stuck between two companies guessing who is in charge.
Western Mass is not a giant market. People notice who lasts. Anderson has been here since 2007. We are glad some of the years since we opened have been spent inside their standard instead of against it.
For facilities that want Anderson as the contractor, go to Anderson Cleaning.
For primes that need a local subcontract crew, or buildings that want to talk with us directly, start here.
We will keep doing the unglamorous part: showing up, following the scope, and sending the boring update that prevents the expensive one.
Thank you, Anderson Cleaning. You are our biggest partner. We do not take that lightly.
FAQ
Is Arcanjo Cleaning part of Anderson Cleaning?
No. We are a separate owner-operated company. Anderson Cleaning is our biggest partner. On those accounts, we work as a subcontract crew inside Anderson’s client relationship.
Who do I call if Anderson already cleans my building?
Call Anderson Cleaning. They own the account. That is how a clean subcontract relationship is supposed to work.
What does Arcanjo do as a subcontractor?
Local execution: a reliable crew, communication with the prime’s team, photos and closeout notes when required, and insurance documentation for onboarding. We follow the agreed scope and flag conflicts instead of quietly rewriting the job.
Do you only work through Anderson?
No. Anderson is our largest partner, not our only work. We also take direct facility partnerships when the building and the fit are right.
Tell us about the account. Caio and Karen will reply within 24 hours — and only say yes if we can protect your name.
